Who's Aurora? Thank you for asking. So kind of you!

Aurora is a television editor who splits her time between New York City and Los Angeles, California.

​

She loves board games. She's even willing to play Monopoly until the game is actually over (that's right).

​

She adores game shows (and has won a car on The Price is Right, and lost

a trip to Mexico on Let's Make a Deal. (Wah wah)

​

But what you're probably looking for is - who is this girl? Is she gonna complete this project? Does she do this stuff - run and volunteer and all that jazz?

  • Ran 52 Half Marathons in 52 Weeks After Open-Heart Surgery
     

  • Ran a Spartan Trifecta-In-a-Day (31 Miles with obstacles In mud, rain & hail)
     

  • Ultramarathoner - Having completed a 50-Mile race in the San Jacinto mountains
     

  • Some Fun Challenges Completed

    • Disney's Goofy Challenge (Half Marathon one day followed by a full the next)
       

    • Ran two different half marathons in two opposite times zones in the US, on back-to-back days, twice (once east to west, once west to east).
       

  • Race Totals (as of February 27)

    • Ultramarathons - x2

    • Marathons x6

    • Half Marathons x76

    • 10ks x4

    • 5ks x9

  • Raised Over $8,000 (through running) for Broadway Impact (a charity supporting marriage equality)
     

  • Did 52 Volunteer Activities in 52 Weeks in 2014-2015
     

  • Marched at the New York State Capitol in 2011 Supporting Marriage Equality (& Phone-banked As Well), and Marched in Washington DC at the Women's March in 2017
     

  • Volunteered as a Stage Manager for Broadway Bares (an event raising money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS) 2 years in a row
     

  • Volunteered both at a suicide helpline and a hospital while in college
     

  • I Know This Doesn't Count As Activism, But Goodness Does She Love To Watch C-Span and Legislation-Making Happening Live, and Live-Tweet About It
